Other Programmes

To cater to different types of audiences, the Museum offers several programmes.

The programmes are created based on the themes explored in the exhibitions or topics related to pottery, featuring a practical component that allows visitors direct contact with materials and techniques of modelling or painting.

Senior Museum Programme

This programme, aimed at senior citizens, seeks to rediscover the everyday memories of the past through a guided tour, followed by the opportunity to participate in a practical workshop, stimulating creativity and motor skills. Many of the objects on display in the Museum, which once formed part of daily life, become a starting point for exchanging ideas, recalling stories, and evoking emotions. This programme is especially suitable for retirement homes, day centres, and senior universities, offering moments of sharing, interaction, and the appreciation of individual and collective experiences.

Family Museum Programme - Second Sunday of Each Month

More than just a programme, the Family Museum promotes the connection between generations. It includes a guided tour of the Museum and a practical workshop, which can involve either clay modelling or painting ceramic pieces. This programme is specifically aimed at families, providing a unique opportunity to share moments of creativity and unity while discovering the richness of ceramic heritage together.

Create with Clay - Third Saturday of Each Month

A unique experience where clay becomes a medium for artistic expression, designed for both families and groups of friends. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy a different moment on the weekend, escape from the routine, and explore creativity through a guided tour and a workshop at our Museum.

Holidays at the Museum

During school breaks, the Museum organises a series of activities specially designed for younger audiences. These include hand modelling, working on the potter's wheel, painting tiles, and other creative experiences. The programme is aimed at children of different ages, offering moments of learning, fun, and artistic expression.

The programmes require prior registration, with a minimum notice of 15 days before the desired date, and are subject to service availability. No activities take place during the month of August.
