Painting And Glazing Ceramic Pieces by Maria José Machado

The focus of this workshop is to personalise a cockerel or other piece through painting, using ceramic pigments in various colours, slips, and glazes. Starting with a provided piece, participants, guided by Maria José Machado, will learn and use ceramic techniques and materials to creatively decorate their piece in vibrant colours.

The painted piece will later undergo firing at the Museum and can be collected by participants after the process is complete.
