In other times, it was like this…

In other times, it was like this… is the theme of this exhibition of Figurado de Barcelos, with pieces from the Pottery Museum's collection. The exhibition will take visitors on a three-dimensional journey through the local collective memory, especially before 25 April 1974, through the works of established and emerging names in Barcelos figurative art. In a tour of more than 80 works, visitors will see some of life's commonplaces, such as school, agriculture and professions that have since disappeared. Other themes of the figurative pieces depict present-day festivals and pilgrimages, courtship and affection, and health.
