The creations of Barcelos’ clay figurine makers have always depicted themes from everyday life: work, animals, religion, and celebrations. “Faith and Revelry in Clay” demonstrates how religion and celebration were and are represented, and how the appearance and forms of Barcelos figurines have evolved.
