As part of the 50th Anniversary Commemorations of the 25th of April, the Pottery Museum will inaugurate, on Friday, 12th April, the exhibition ‘Ceramic Techniques in Portuguese-Speaking Countries' in the Chapel Room of the Pottery Museum.

The exhibition displays a diverse collection of pieces, tools, and instruments used in ceramic production from Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, East Timor, the result of ethnographic work, donations and acquisitions made during the 20th and 21st centuries. The utility and decorative uses of crockery are explored, inviting visitors to discover the rich cultural material linked to these nations.
