Introduction to ceramic conservation and restoration practices. The activity begins with a brief overview of the history and main typologies of ceramics, followed by the identification of the most common forms of degradation in this type of heritage. The practical component will allow participants to experience intervention techniques on antique tiles by applying fills and performing color reintegration, using materials provided for the activity.
