Cavalheiro

Cavalheiro is Tiago Ferreira. Born in Porto, raised in Santo Tirso, and exiled in Braga. He released his first self-titled EP in 2009 and has since released works with avidity: "Primeiro" (LP, 2010), "Farsas" (EP, 2011), "Ritmo Cruzeiro" (EP, 2012), "Trégua" (EP, 2013), "Mar Morto" (LP, 2015), "Falsa Fé" (LP, 2018), and most recently "Ninguém Me Avisou" (2019), a single featuring Xana, vocalist of Rádio Macau.

In Barcelos, he will present his new album - "Ilha Digital". The new work comes at the end of more than a year’s hiatus following the release of "Falsa Fé" and a forced break due to the state of the world. It represents, clearly, a new turning point in Cavalheiro’s musical journey.

The creative and production process, the latter split between Tiago Ferreira and Vítor Barros, was even slower than previous releases, allowing the creation of a set of songs entirely composed on piano or synthesizers.
