Acid Acid was born in late 2014, created by musician and radio personality Tiago Castro.
As a one-man band, he plays multiple synthesizers, guitar, and effects pedals, building countless melodic layers in long, uninterrupted tracks.
Acid Acid’s journey includes a self-titled debut album (2016), along with two digital live recordings captured at Sabotage Club, in Lisbon. The first was in 2015, and the second, from 2016, is a live performance in collaboration with Vítor Rua (GNR, Telectu).
In 2017, Acid Acid was invited by Motelx – Lisbon International Horror Film Festival – to create a tribute performance to filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky.
Following this concert (which featured visuals created specifically for the event by the production company Droid_Id), the composition was recorded in the studio and became part of Acid Acid’s second album – Jodorowsky, released on vinyl in autumn 2020.
Currently, songs for a third full-length album are being finalised, with a release expected this year.
